      It’s my first post in forum and gonna be long. As a player when I choose a game to play, I have some standards involving Historal accurate and Gameplay experience in order to evaluate a game/mod. In this post, I will talk about two main topics: My ideas and gameplay balance.
      Let me talk about my new ideas:
      1. Supply air-drop package for US Airborne, Luftwaffe and Iron Will.
      That mean: the (standard) Officer squad can call-off map a  air-drop package (or just call-off map) which is vulnerable and can be destroyed by regular rifle very fast, its function is the same with weapon truck, but more flexcible and fast supply.
      This idea comes from Gamplay experience, I command a paratrooper division (US Air – Luft) or a legionary army supported by Germany (Iron Will), I feel not really good when I call -off 3 squads of 82nd Parachute infantry but can’t not upgrade them with 2 M1 for each, and only can do when retreat them. In history, there were weapons air-drop.

      2. Command tank for US Armor, like he Command Tank for OKW VE, but when the Command tank is near, every tanks in near area will be buffed (accurate or reload time or… something els), I think It’s reasonable for a Armor doc to have a Chief commander.

      3. Parachute ability and replancement in the field for Fallschirmjager Bataillon 600 of Luftwaffe (with green smoke grenade perhap), because they are Germany Paratrooper too, that make the Gameplay experience more fun. In BK, even The Mountain troops drop to the field (not Historical Accurate). I doesn’t mention this ability for Luft Pioneer because someone said that they won’t have gear to repair vehicles or building if they parachute to the field, The solution for that is to give them air-drop package too (I do not strongly that idea for Luft pioneer, but for Bataillon 600, yes I do)  I know there are many complain that Luftwaffe doc is OP, but find I hope we can find somehow to solve the problem.

      4. Pioneer/engineer or simular stuffs have ability to clear tarrain for line of sigh (like in Spearhead mod), more stuffs to build your defensive position or just rescue your stuck infantry unit.

      5. Giving the Officer unit (standard) observer mod ability, they can watch the battle from behind the line.

      5. Giving The Grenadier of Wehmarch standing camoflage and hold-fire ability, for ambush, because I see them have camo uniform and there are good-training troops btw. If we do so, players will be motivated to dissmiss Volkgrenadier and replace into Grenadier.

      Before turn to the balance ideas and issue, I want to tell you that I base on standards that no unit is useless or unworthy to use. And one of the most reason that I love Wikinger mod is there is always certain solutions for every situations when you play whatever doc, not only recieve feedback and buff or nerf particular units; lower and higher the price, you know everything “OP” unit should have certain ways to counter.
      1. Panzerfaust price, it’s precise that I played many PvP game with the mod veterans, I hardly saw someone used Panzerfaust. The issue I think is the price of panzerfaust (45 for unlock abi and 35 for a shot) comparing with Bezooka of USF (45 ammo unlock and no shot price). I find out that the cost is too much, with 80 ammunition, I rather choose MG42/43 ungrade than panzerfaust and leave the job to most functionable unit (AT squad). It’s serious if you can not see any panzerfaust used in a WW2 game.

      2. Jeep and Similar stuffs are too vulnerable or too costly. At the early game, extremely rare to see vet players use it; and got nobody using Pak 30.

      3. Buff survival abitility for retreating, I think Papamong already solved the issue.

      4. US Infantry really doen’t have any certain method to fight agaisnt German Heavy tanks (Tiger 1 -2 – Panther)

      That all I wanna show, more ideas and issue will come soon.

      Thanks a lot for your good feeback, I like some of your ideas and I will take it in serious consideration.

      1. Supply drop for airborne doctrines: is a really good idea. I will put it in my notes to not forget about it.
      2. Command Tank for US armor: The upcoming patch is going to have something for you in this particular point. Abrams Command tank will receive a buff in his abilities.
      3. Parachute ability for Fallschirmjager regiment 600. Well, I prefer to maintain airborne capabilities only for the regimen 6 because at the end of the war Germany had limited resources for airborne operations.
      4. I dont get the idea about pios. Could you explain me better.
      5. Same here, could give me more info about it.
      6. Wehrmacht will be reworked from the ground then, provably we will have something new and fresh for you in a near future.
      7. Panzerfaust, well the main problem of this weapon in wikinger in my point of view is, the “punch”. You pay twice and the damage is not good enough for the ammo invested.
      8. Dodge and Kubelwagen will receive a big buff in the next pach. Give it a try on them in the weekend. The new version will be ready then.
      9. I know what you mean about Panther and Tiger. I am working in a way to restric the heavy cats to a certain number during a game to prevent the abuse.

      4. I mean to add ability to destroy/clear covers for moving or line of sigh, look at the picture I sent you in discord (because I can’t insert picture here), I tell this because if my enemy build sanbag or barbed wire to block your move, I can only destroy those by spending 50 ammo, or to clear the line of sigh for my defensive fotress.

      5. I mean giving the same ability with Oserving mode like 501st Intel Section and Ranger Scout Patrol to Office squad, so we give player more reasons to use Officer squad and officers look at the battle from behind the line is a cool idea also. and also I find that German faction have two way to scout: call scout-plane and armor car scout, it not realy cool if don’t have scout soldier, and to give the office squad that ability to buff good gameplay experience.

      6. I didn’t mean the “big cat” issue, but the issue come from US Infantry that don’t have certain solutions to counter German heavy tanks.

      3. I know Germany was extremely limited in resource in 1944-1945 and the luftwaffe was exhausted after battle of England 1942, but there was once very big Fallschirmjager operation in 1939-1944 with a lot of small missions, more particular to resue Mosolini and in battle of the bulge, and all for gameplay experience.
      Fallschirmjager regiment 600 is only 1 more squad to drop onto the field, It gonna be great and extremely more enjoyable if you re-consider this idea.

      My pleasure to answer you mate:

      1. I already answer you in discord about your question. The sappers has this ability as an upgrade pack
      2. I will considerate your idea about the binoculars ability for this unit
      3. The big problem with the infantry vs German big cats is the lack of penetration of bazooka vs frontal armor. I think the solucion is to limit this kind of tank to a certain number during the game.
      4. About Falls 600, I can not promice nothing in this particular point. I will talk with my team.

      Thank you for re-considering about the Falls 600.
      I just want to share how I think Blitzkrieg mod is super-awesome when first look many years ago.
      I played as luftwaffe doc and find out “yes that’s a real-coolest Luftwaffe division, fallschrimjager doesn’t silly run somewhere into the map but parachuting like a true paratrooper, that gonna be a fuking yolo when luft fights US Airborne.” That influence me a lots leading to this idea.
      However, just do what you, the team, think it’s the best, everything is just my own opinion for reference!
