    Wikinger is a multiplayer/skirmish only mod, the single player missions are not supported.

     

    A quick “how-to” for new players:

     

    • Firstly you need to own a copy of Company of Heroes 2.
    • Then you need to subscribe to Wikinger mod in the COH2: Steam Workshop. Link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=536953701
    • Launch your COH2 main game and then in online and skirmish you need to host a custom game.
    • In your game setup screen options menu you will now see Wikinger: European Theater of War in your list of Tuning Packs.
    • Then simply add friends and/or A.I and you are good to go!

     

    Troubleshooting:

     

    Even though you are subscribed sometimes the mod doesnt download immediately to the COH2 game, this can often depend on server load and your internet connection. You can manually force it to download/update from the in-game modding hub. Just find the Wikinger Mod, click on it and press play from the Modding Hub. This will launch the game from there.

     

    Manual option :

     

    If you can’t download via the steam workshop then, there’s only one option:

     

    You have to download the mod file manually, then put it in this directory: Documents/mygames/Company of heroes 2/mods/tuning

    You’ will have to do it every time it gets updated – download links are hosted on moddb and links are on the sidebar.
