      I have gone ahead and written a full document on why the F1 should be moved. I have also included ideas to balance the move, this includes across the allied doctrines (some ideas are outside the scope of just the F1, such as the StuG III E, and various other moves that I suggested in the document). I would like to make three specific points that may be misconstrued while reading:
      1. HEAT toggle is only for Wehrmacht mechanized, and is locked behind a CP upgrade (3-8, depending on what is edited by the devs, as they make the final calls)
      2. To get the F1 at tier 2, you must unlock both Tier 1 and Tier 2 to be able to produce the F1.
      3. This currently is only being considered for two doctrines, Mechanized and SS artillery.

      Firstly thank you for putting together such a comprehensive document, Wow! Very impressive!

      I envisage this being part of a wider balancing beta at some stage in the future where we can test out a number of options in moving vehicles around the tiers.

      Like splitting “medium’ tanks into 3 categories:

      Early/Light Medium

      Medium

      Late/ Heavy Medium

      We spent a lot of time balancing after SS/US doctrines were finished and most of it ended up being obsolete once we got further down the doctrine completion path. We simply dont want to open this can of worms again yet because regardless of how much testing you have done there is always unforeseeable balance issues.

      To answer a couple of your questions:

      Correct – HEAT rounds do not loose penetration over range IRL or in the mod.

      The AEC would have died to one shot due to its much lower mass than the Valentine. More mass IRL = more hitpoints in game.

      Sorry to not be more helpful but we are determined to finish the doctrines this year and have to be a bit bloody minded about our goals for now.

      I don’t expect to see it implemented immediately, I expected to see something appear after all doctrines were completed and balanced.

      I tested extensively to ensure there were no points that I would not be able to cover (or to have used against me), I also did it because I knew that it would have to be done regardless, to figure out how it would upset the balance.

      Also, Kitty,
      F1 is supposed to be tier 2, why would I be looking to balance the Pershing in Tier 3/4? (dunno what to call it, its in the tier 3 building, but is locked behind a second upgrade for it)
