We’re looking to collect any suggestions you may have for the Wehrmacht faction rework…

Please bear in mind that we cannot add models into the CoH2 tools.
All suggestions will be considered but there is no guarantee that your idea will be in the mod.

well i think adding something like combined arms would be cool for the Wehrmacht. Mechanized doctrine for me is the one i use to spearhead assaults so i would love a tech tree that gives me some Luftwaffe support besides stuka dive bombing. Of course there could just be a whole new Doctrine that is just all air and focuses on recon, resupply and some air strafes. The Defense doctrine feels like it needs some more Arty or maybe a big mortar. could also add a bunker with anti air flak guns i mean that is optional because when ever i shoot down a plan they always crash into something valuable anyway. For Tank hunter i really don’t know. :O

Ideas according to cut content :

      – Munition Blitz , something that increase munition incomr would be unique.

      – Some sort of unit that is stealthy and can steal supplies.

      – Armored Reserve : too bad panzer 3s are not in game. This can be a call-in for pnzer 4 F1s.

      – Command Panther.

      – Jager light infantry or some sort of a jager squad.

      – Manpower Blitz from coh1 :p

Munitions Blitz: From what I remember, this ability makes your Munitions income take a hit, but you get a ton of Munitions immediately. Like Manpower Blitz, it’s designed for when you need Munitions NOW.

A saboteur for Ostheer? I can see it happening. Not sure if it’s possible, but it would certainly be interesting. Would it be a doctrine specific unit though? Non doctrinal? Can it fight? Etc.

Armored Reserves: No idea what to put in. Perhaps some lighter vehicles? It’s called reserves, so it’d probably be older versions of vehicles that have been pressed into service to bolster the forces on the frontlines, perhaps some lighter vehicles like the Puma? I’m not sure.

Command Panther: Basically a plain ol’ Panther tank, but with something like the CMD P4’s buffing aura. Certainly would be nice. Perhaps it can get other abilities to use to support nearby armored forces?

Jaeger Light Infantry: They’d be a hell of a lot more powerful here. The cut version was a 5 man squad with body armor (like Shock Troops) and 5 G43s. Unable to cap, but can decap much much faster. Can be deployed from ambient buildings. Cost 560 MP though. Adding them would be nice, though they’re definitely going to be doctrine specific I think, since they’re so strong.

Manpower Blitz from CoH1: No idea what it did. XD

Some of the other cut content that hasn’t been used in the mod:

Supply Center: Increased resource income. Can be built by your Pioneers in the vanilla game. No idea if that’s going to make it into the game; resource boosting structures, units, abilities, etc. are generally pretty strong. And if it does make it, is it non-doctrinal? Doctrinal? How much does it boost resource income? Etc.

Fortified Resource Caches: Pretty self explanatory. Munitions/Fuel Caches are much tougher and harder to kill. No idea if this will make it in either.

Incendiary Mortar Barrage: Mortars gain incendiary mortars to use. Not sure if this is in the mod or not, but it sounds kinda useful.

Rapid Production: Already in the game kinda. Would be cool for Ostheer to have a production boosting ability, though I’m not sure how OP that makes them.

      1. Focke-Achgelis Fa 223

As a vehicle to bring in supply drops, or even troops (due to limited mod. tools only Fallschirmjäger atm, since that’s the only unit that is able jump out of a flying object).

In my opinion it would add variety to the mod and the methods of bringing in supply.

      2. Funkwagen Opel Blitz
It would use/give access to the ability called “radio intercept”. Could get a nice little “set up” animation and a cunstom skin to make it unique.
Ragnar asked me about the right german translation of “radio car” a few months ago, so this could be a unit you already thought of.
      3. He 111
I want this huge bombing run of He 111, which was cut off from the original game. Maybe called in by the “Funkwagen”?
      4. Granatbüchse 39; My post on the forum
This weapon has a lot of potential in my opinion.
You could intgrate it as a better AT rifle BUT I would use it as a “rifle grenade upgrade”.
Once it’s equipped the use of rifle grenades is free. Of course with a cooldown. Maybe there is a way to let the rifle grenade only be shot by the guy with the Granatbüchse 39.
              OR
The equipped Granatbüchse fires a rifle grenade over and over. Maybe the worse version, since you could give the player the choice to fire a normal rifle grenade or a AT grenade if you go for the first version.
      5. Just a few things at the end:
Jäger infantry, don’t get affected by difficult terrain
–Vampir unit from coh 1 @mongalong I really like this idea!
dank ass Panzerfüssiliere with acces to the Granatbüchse 39 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
      Thank you for your attention.

The Großdeutschland division, which had the priority of supply. Two Panthers ( with APCR) + Two grenadier troops armed with Stg 44 and Mg42 and panzerfaust.

APCR shells for 7.5 cm KwK 42. which give a 100% chance to penetrate the IS 2 frontal armor.
