      Hi Community:

      We are about to release the last hotfix before Iron Will doctrine. We invest a few weeks to improve the gameplay before go to the next doctrine rework.

      Wehrmacht

      • Fixed Tiger Ace (mechanized doctrine):

      a. Target weak point now will be available only at vet level 5

      b. Fixed ability target weak point. This ability will generate correctly the criticals

      c. Fixed Tiger ACE vet 5 txts.

      d. Tiger ACE level 5 bonus: MG 34 hull & coaxial get 25% more damage, accuracy and supperssion.

      c. Added Portrait decorator badge and txt on Vet 5

      • Defensive Doctrine Concrete bunker with add ons:

      a. Moved to Battlephase 2

      b. Moved to tech tree unlock

      • Leig infantry weapon off map artillery barrage removed from game
      • Defensive Doctrine –  Concrete Artillery Observation Bunker:

      a. Moved to Battlephase 2

      b. Moved to tech tree unlock

      c. Increase the line of sight

      d. Added retreat point

      • Morser Karl 600mm artillery is not anymore unlockable and is present at the Artillery Observation Bunker.
      • Added 25 ammo cost to Panzer IV ausf F1
      • Reduced damage of Stuka Zu Fuss slightly versus base buildings.
      • Added new icon to Pak 43 artillery ability
      • Attach munition cost to pak 43 (65)ammo because has indirect fire abilitly.

      Waffen elite forces

      • Added 25 ammo cost to Panzer IV ausf F1
      • King Tiger Ace:

      a. Added MG 34 bonus on vet 5

      b. Correct txt at vet 5

      c. Added Portrait decorator badge and txt on Vet 5

      • Tweak the ability reload time for dropped weapons:

      a. Raketenwerfer 60 sec

      b. Leig inf weapon 240 sec

      c. HMG 34 45 sec

      Soviet Army:

      • Rework Razvechiky off map incendiary ability to match with Wikinger system.
      • Removed medikit upgrade from Mechanized Fusilieres of the Armored Guard. This troop cames with medikit by default and not need the upgrade.
      • Added artillery ability to Zis 3 M1942 AT gun and attach a munition cost of 45 ammo.
      • Adjusted Zi3 3 gun barrage ability. New cost 40 ammo.
      • Rework T-34 76/85 Ramming ability: Basically the target vehicle will receive a lot of damage and a critical on his tread system but the vehicle who cast the ability will be totally disable. How the ability will work now ? You have 10 seconds to run on your target at max speed. If you exceed this time the engine will be damage.

      a. Ability range max: 65 meters / min: 17 meters.

      b. Greatly increased damage generated on target vehicle and own one. Before 160 hitpoints (flat) now 400 hitpoints +/-10%

      c. Rework critical system on ability: Target vehicle will get a destroy wheels & treads or transmission damage. Own vehicle will get main gun destroy and destroy wheels and treads.

      d. The ability can not be casted during flanking speed

      • Removed IS-2 HE rounds ability. Instead of that I increased the area effect of normal AP-HE-BC round.
      • IS-2 Veteran:

      a. Added MG front & rear bonus on vet 5

      b. Fixed text at vet 5

      c. Added Portrait decorator badge and txt on Vet 5

      • Added Canister shot to M2 M45mm ATG

      AEF:

      • P-47 Bombing strike critical shock now have modded values.
      • Mechanized Riflemen Dispatch – corrected MP cost from 350 to 550
      • Increased the barrage cost of 107 mm mortar from 20 to 50 ammo.
      • Replace the pole charge ability for a Demo charge triggered (sadly the new ability not working)
      • Tweak the ability reload time for dropped weapons:

      a. Pack howitzer 75 mm 240 sec

      b. HMG .50cal 45 sec

      c. 57 mm AT gun 60 sec

      d. Medical supplies 120 sec

      e. 81 mm mortar 180 sec

      • Pershing ACE:

      a. Added MGs coaxial bonus on vet 5

      b. Correct txt at vet 5

      c. Added Portrait decorator badge and txt on Vet 5

      British:

      • British RCA forward observers:

      a. Added binocular abilitiy

      b. Removed Victor target abilitites

      c. Fix the off map artillery system for them. Now matches with the rest of Wikinger off map artillery call in.

      d. Added infiltration ability

      c. Added hold fire button.

      • RCA coordinate fire orders now can not be casted on HQ and range.
      • Coordinate fire orders range is now set to 120 meters and can be casted only by Valentine tank
      • All 25 pdr coordinate fire only does not share anymore time with the other ones
      • Comet Veteran (RSE):

      a. Added MG hull & turret bonus on vet 5

      b. Correct txt at vet 5

      c. Added Portrait decorator badge and txt on Vet 5

      • Fixed Boys AT squad medikit healing ability.

      General

      • Fixed portraits of captured HMGs. Now show the proper faction portrait after capture.
      • Many new icons by Starbuck & Cultis.
      • 50% fixed double shots on abilties & special rounds in german side. APCR rounds and Critical shots now are partially fixed. It is not possible to perform a double shot after cast the ability but is still possible to perform a double shot if you shot normal round first. We still working on this problem.
      • Removed trench greande. Sadly the ability is a bit buggy. We will implement it in a near future in the correct way.
      • Fixed off map artillery, now no one could be casted in:

      a. Fog of war

      b. Main base

      • Tweaked Victor targert orders:

      a. Can not be casted on main base

      b. Can not be casted in the fog of war

      c. New range set as 150 meters

      d. New prices increased depending on caliber of the weapon

      e. Can not be casted anymore during blizzard

      • Mortar & artillery precision barrages:

      a. Can not be casted in the fog of war

      b. Reduced the number of shots (-1)

      c. Added new icon

      • Added criticals on deflection and penetration for all AT weapons in game:

      . Axis: Pak 40, Pak 43, Raketenwerfer and Pak 184-6r 45mm

      . British Commonwealth: 17 pdr gun, 6 pdr gun

      . Soviet: Zis 3 76mm, M-42 45mm

      . AEF: M1 57mm

      UI/UX – Spawner Hotkeys

      All factions construction buildings will have accurate hotkeys as to their appropriate grid position.

      Row 1 Column 1 = Q, R1C2 = W, R1C3 = E etc

      AI section:

      • Planes & off map artillery system rework: this applies only for the A.I.

      a. AEF:
      . Removed Strafing run for AEF
      . Reduced priority to 35% for the other planes

      b. British:
      . Removed Napalm bombing
      . Reduced priority to 35% for the other ones

      c. Soviet:
      . Reduced priority to 35% in all their planes

      d. Wehrmacht:
      . Removed Rail Gun artillery
      . Removed Leig infantry off map artillery

      e. Waffen:
      . Removed V1 Rocket Strike

      Tier Path Rework

      We’ve made a big overhaul of the way all factions tier up in Wikinger, this is something that has been left over from the base game and has taken a few weeks of looking at all the values and then addressing them.  We started out with a fairly conservative leveling out of each faction to bring them more in line with each other.

      Before – major imbalance between OKW, US and UK vs Wehrmacht & Soviets

      After – with tentative favoring/penalties for advantages/disadvantages 

      US, UK and OKW are all working on a four tier cost/time scale whereas Wehrmacht and Soviets have their costs and times split across seven upgrades/buildings.  We need to see how well this splitting has worked, can it be horribly exploited? Are some factions locked out of units while others get them too easily?

      OKW gets a time (infantry truck only) and resource penalty (split across all three trucks) to allow for the fact that new units spawn directly from this first truck, it is a retreat point and it can heal units.

      These times and values are in no way set in stone, this is an early development and we need extensive testing on these new times.
